2011 Black Bear Pictures

Welcome to our 2011 black bear pictures. We didn't capture our first black bear pictures in 2010 until November so we're ahead of the game this year. That being said, we may not get another black bear picture this year or we may get quite a few. If history is any indication we won't see this bear again for a while. I like getting pictures of them, but when they start tearing stuff up it gets frustrating. Thankfully they didn't bother much on their first visit of 2011.

It's been less than a month since the last black bear visit on August 14. This time we got pictures on two days near two different feeders. We'd like to get a look at a bear during hunting season.....maybe from a distance.

Only two weeks after the last visit the black bear showed up again on August 14. We got pictures of the bear at two feeders and with three different cameras. Its visits are getting closer together, we wonder when it will show up again and if we'll get a chance to meet it in person.

Here are four pictures from July 30. This bear showed up at two of our feeders on this visit.

These are our first black bear pictures in 2011. The bear showed up at both feeders on the same day and we didn't see him again the rest of the week.

We got a big kick out of this picture. If he figures out how to use the winch we're in big trouble.

Here he is at the other feeder on the same day. Rather than trying to figure out the winch on this one, he just climbs up the pole. Thankfully he didn't damage anything.
