April 27th Deer Photos

Spring seems to finally be upon us. Last week we went from very cold winter-like weather to temperatures in the 80's. Sometimes it seems like we just skip true spring weather.

With the warmer weather things are greening up nicely and we had cameras posted throughout our food plots, but most of our pictures came from the cameras at our mineral licks this week.

We got one coyote picture this week but it was too far away to provide a good quality picture, we'll keep trying to catch them in our food plots.

At least one buck is showing good antler growth and his brow tines are starting to split off. I sure wish we could get them to wear name tags so that we could tell which buck is which. I guess we'll have to wait for more antler characteristics.

These pictures were taken with our StalkerCam, Treebark Cameras 4.1, Camtrakker Digital Ranger and Trail Watcher 2040.
