August 17 Whitetail Photos

Last week was a little slim, but this week was a good one. Even though we had difficulties with three cameras we still got pictures of nine bucks with seven points or more.

We're still trying to correlate this years bucks with those we had left from last year and we think we have a few of them figured out. The dissapointing thing for us is that we're not seeing one of the biggest bucks from last year.

Hopefully we can keep seeing all of the bucks we saw this week and find the big buck from last year, we haven't given up yet.

We didn't get any bobcat or coyote pictures but the black bear showed up again. Make sure you check out our black bear pictures page.

This weeks pictures were taken with our EagleEye, StalkerCam, Treebark Cameras 4.1, Swamp Ghost SG-N60, Camtrakker Digital Ranger, Woodland SpyCam and Trail Watcher 2060.

Nine point buck

Here is a nine point we haven't seen before. Camtrakker Digital Ranger

Eight point buck

I know this is a strange picture, but it shows his rack the best. I think this may be the buck we called crab claw last year. EagleEye

Eight point buck in velvet

Another buck we hadn't seen yet this year. The end of the hayfield has given us two new bucks this year. Woodland SpyCam

ten point buck

Our biggest ten point. We're wondering how thick his antlers are going to be once the velvet is shed. Treebark Cameras 4.1

Buck with a bad eye

One eye just hasn't grown the size of antlers we think he should for being our oldest buck. StalkerCam

Nine point with a sticker point

Here's an eight point frame buck with a sticker on his left G2. StalkerCam

Seven point buck

Not the best picture, but this buck seems to be missing his left G3 to make him an over-sized seven point. StalkerCam

Ten point buck in velvet

The smaller ten point. He's hanging around the big ten and we're wondering how long that will last. Trail Watcher 2060

Small eight point buck

One of the smaller bucks this week is a decent eight point. Swamp Ghost
