February 25th Deer Pictures

We found another shed antler this time and that's always exciting. It is half of a small eight point that looks like a small close racked eight point that we had been seeing off and on this year. Unfortunately it doesn't have any remarkeable characteristics for us to look for next year, but if it grows into a larger eight point we'll take it.

We didn't get any pictures of the non-typical eight point over the last couple of weeks. I'm assuming he has shed his antlers. We'll be looking for a larger non-typical buck later this summer.

We still had pictures of the nine point, eight point, two four point bucks, one spike and a young buck with a single spike. It will be interesting to see how far into March these bucks can keep their antlers.

These pictures were taken with our Camtrakker Digital Ranger, EagleEye and Trail Watcher 2035.

The wide four point buck is on the left along with the eight point buck and a button buck.

Four Point buck in the snow

Here is the close rack four point buck in the snow.

Nine point buck

The nine point buck with the eight point in the background. I have noticed that when both of these bucks are at the feeders the eight point is generally in the background. I think I know who the boss is.

Spike buck

Here is one of our trophy spikes.

Spike buck with one spike

This buck lost one spike some time ago. It will be interesting to see how long he will keep this lone spike.
