January 14th Whitetail Deer Photographs

This album of Whitetail Deer Photographs contains digital scouting camera pictures taken the weeks before January 14, 2006.

We downloaded 1198 pictures and only had photographs of two bucks. There are several pictures of bucks that have dropped their antlers but we can't tell how many. They all look the same now!

It looks like there was only one buck that had it's antlers by the last pictures, we'll see how long he keeps them.

So far we have only found one shed spike this year. A fresh snow made antler hunting difficult on this trip.

These pictures were taken with our Woodland SpyCam and a Penn's Woods Digital Scout, Cuddeback Trail Camera, and EagleEye Trail Camera.

Close whitetail deer

This deer must have known that this was a new camera and had to take a closer look.

seven point whitetail buck

This is the seven point buck that is the only one still wearing his antlers. You'll see him again.

Seven point whitetail deer

Here is the same seven point. There is about one mile between these two locations. He is still covering a lot of territory at this time of the year.

Whitetail buck with one antler

This deer still had one antler left on the last day of 2005. I don't think he kept it much longer.

Spike buck

I think this may be the same buck as the previous picture on the next day at the other feeder.

whitetail buck in the snow

Here again is the same seven point buck for the third time at the third feeder. This was the snow storm that preceeded our arrival Saturday morning.
