March 12th Whitetail Deer Pictures

This album of Whitetail Deer Pictures contains digital scouting camera pictures taken in the weeks before March 12, 2005. It had been 5 weeks since we had visited our hunting property and the EagleEye trail camera had taken the 213 picture on February 17th which had filled the memory card. I had put the delay on 10 munutes but I guess that it should have been longer. There was still one eight point buck on the 17th. I took the Leaf River trail camera to experiment a little and put it out Friday night. It took over 60 pictures Saturday morning with a one minute delay. The picture with the blue date and time is from the Leaf River. The weather has stayed quite cold and we got more snow while we were there overnight. The snow makes for some pretty pictures.

Skyline at sunrise

This is a picture with a beautiful northern skyline at sunrise.

Whitetail buck with a bad leg.

This whitetail buck showed up after the season with a bad left rear leg.

Turkey gobbler in a snow storm.

This turkdy gobbler got caught in a snowstorm. I was in the barn when this snow storm rolled in. It put down about a quarter inch of snow, blowing it sideways, real fast. It blew in the barn where I was and made the floor white. When it ended the sun came out and it was a real nice day.

Whitetail Doe sticking her tongue out.

Do you think this whitetail doe is sticking her tongue out at the camera?

Turkey gobbler up close.

This is a nice picture of a turkey gobbler up close to the camera.

Eight point whitetail buck.

This is the last picture that we got of a buck with it's antlers still on. It was taken on February 17th, the last day the camera had room left on the memory card.
