March 27th Deer Photos

We are still in the bald deer time of the year, but we did see some evidence that the bucks are in the early stages of antler growth. Previous years have shown us that they start slow but it's always good to see that they are getting started.

In one weeks time the woods have started to green up a little. When I feel that the deer have better food in the woods and food plots I'll move our cameras to the food plots. We had a lot of success getting great pictures in our food plots last year.

The deer haven't been hitting the mineral licks hard yet this year but we have started seeing some activity. I think they will visit the licks more and more as the weeks progress through spring.

Once again we didn't get any bobcat or coyote pictures this week, but our neighbor said that he heard coyotes one night so they're still out there.

These pictures were taken with our Trail Watcher 2060, StalkerCam, Camtrakker Digital Ranger, and Woodland SpyCam.

Rough looking deer

We've been watching this rough looking buck all winter. I think he is one of our older and bigger bucks. Camtrakker Digital Ranger

This is the largets set of antlers we have so far this year. I sure hope they're not done growing yet. StalkerCam
