March 4th Whitetail Deer Photographs

This album of Whitetail Deer Photographs contains digital scouting camera pictures taken the weeks before March 4, 2006.

I was surprised to see that the seven point still had his antlers and still had them on March 4th as well. We're waiting to see what two more weeks will bring.

We recieved pictures of several different animals including crows, rabbits, a squirrel, a coon dog, our neighbor, turkeys and of course many deer. We're still waiting on our first digital picture of a coyote. I still think that sooner or later we'll get one. I'd placed one camera in our hayfield hoping to get a picture of a coyote but was unsuccessful. This time I put two scouting cameras along trails in the woods so we'll see.

We're also waiting to see an old buck that has two white throat patches. We're hoping he'll show up soon. It's hard to identify the bucks now so we don't know what we're looking at. It will be nice when they start growing antlers again.

These pictures were taken with our Woodland SpyCam and a Penn's Woods, Cuddeback Trail Camera, and EagleEye Trail Camera.

Close Up Whitetail Deer

How long to you suppose this deer saw spots?

Whitetail buck with snow on its antlers

Here is our favorite seven point buck. I blew this picture up so you could see the snow on his antlers. This is the first time I've seen this.

Whitetail deer looking at a deer feeder.

We see funny things when we look at the picture every time. This deer seems to be looking up to see why there isn't any more corn coming down. We often see them sniffing the winch handle and got one picture this time where the deer even had the handle in its mouth.

eight turkey gobblers

This one's for the turkey hunters. These eight gobblers entertained us a few times during hunting season.

Standing whitetail deer.

Here's something we haven't seen often. This deer appears to be standing and kicking at another deer. Notice the seven point in the back ground looking on.

Seven point whitetail buck.

Ok, here's the seven point buck again. This camera was in the hayfield. This buck seems to find our scouting cameras now matter where we put them.
