May 18 Deer Photographs

Two weeks since our last pictures and the bucks now have brow tines and their beams are starting to gain some width. This is the time of the year that their antlers start to take off and it's fun to watch them each week.

We were able to identify one eye and one picture may be the white foot buck, but I'm not sure. We still can't tell them apart by their antlers.

We had two cameras on food plots and we got some decent pictures, but none of them are included below. We kept both of these cameras in the same places this week since we did get coyote pictures and we're willing to give it another week.

We got two coyote pictures in this set and started a coyote page for 2012. Unfortunately only one of them was good enough to make the cut. Make sure you visit the new coyote page.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Trail Watcher Researcher, Trail Watcher 2060, Treebark Cameras 4.1 and Woodland SpyCam.

Buck at a mineral lick

We get very few buck pictures in this area but this one showed up at the mineral lick on a foggy morning. Trail watcher 2060

One eye buck

One Eye at a mineral lick. His bases look pretty big, hopefully he'll put on more size this year. Woodland SpyCam

Whitetail buck close up

This isn't going to be a big buck, but the colors in this picture caught my eye. Treebark Cameras 4.1
