May 2nd Deer Photos
Just about everything is green now so the deer have something to eat everywhere they turn. This makes the deer a little harder to find and photograph, but the mineral licks are a strong attraction right now. Our cameras at the licks took several hundred pictures each. We finally have at least one buck and I suspect two that have already branched off their brow tines. This adds to the excitement each time we look at our pictures now, but I still can't tell them apart. We got some pictures of the young buck with white feet so we'll be able to identify one buck early this year. I don't have big expectations for him since he is only one and a half years old. We got one good bobcat picture this week so make sure you take a look at the bobcat picture page. These pictures were taken with our StalkerCam, Treebark Cameras 4.1 and Bigfoot SLE.

They are hard to see here but this is the buck with white feet. Bigfoot SLE
This is a close-up side view of a buck that has brow tines already. Treebark Cameras 4.1.
Here is a young buck that still has water streaming from his mouth. Treebark Cameras 4.1.
This buck looks like his bases are going to be pretty big although his hasn't grown much length yet. StalkerCam
Three bucks together at the mineral lick. I wish I knew which bucks they are. StalkerCam
