November 11 Whitetail Photos

After Ryan shot his buck last week the sense of urgency declined quite a bit. I spent Saturday morning in a stand and was entertained by a young eight point with a small sticker point and a smaller three point along with a doe and fawn.

Later in the early afternoon we saw the nine point that Ryan missed two weeks ago chasing a doe in the hayfield. This proved my suspicions that the mating activity made the bucks much less predictable and you would never know when you might see one go by. We also saw bucks in several locations on our cameras the past week.

We didn't get any pictures of the one eye buck this week. Ryan thinks he may have wandered off gotten himself killed, I think he's laying low while the rut frenzy is happening. Hopefully I'm right.

This week we got one coyote picture but the coyote was a little too far away so the picture wasn't good enough to make the page. We'll look hard again next week.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Trail Watcher 4220, Penns Woods DS-07, Treebark Cameras 4.1, and Camtrakker Digital Ranger.
