October 10th Deer Pictures

We had another good week of pictures but the bucks are starting to get less predictable. We saw most of our usual bucks but some of them didn't show up as much as they usually have. We also didn't see the strange racked seven point at all this week. The ten point showed up twice but each time we only got half of his rack in the picture so he didn't make the page this week.

For the next week we have put out fewer cameras since bow season starts next week. I've found that too many cameras can take up valuable hunting time. I did set up one camera along a trail in an attempt to find out where the 10 point may be hanging around.

We also got one more coyote picture this week and a gray fox picture. I can't remember if we have gotten a gray fox picture yet, so I'll try to make a fox picture page.

These pictures were taken with our HCO ScoutGuard SG550, Trail Watcher 2060, Woodland SpyCam, Camtrakker Digital Ranger and homemade WhitetailCam P41.

Nine point buck

Here is the nine point buck at a scrape that is along the edge of a food plot next to a feeder and mineral lick. Trail Watcher 2060

Sticker Point Buck

We're not sure if this buck is bigger or smaller than the buck in the previous picture. We'll try to get a look in person next week. Camtrakker

Eight point buck

This is one of our nice looking young eight point bucks. Camtrakker

Odd racked nine point buck

This is a decent looking buck that has a slightly deformed right atler and sticker point on his left. I like the long length of his G2's. Woodland SpyCam

Tall racked eight point buck

This buck has a nice high rack, we'd like to see what he could grow after one more year. Woodland SpyCam

Small racked eight point buck

One of our smaller, young eight point bucks. HCO ScoutGuard SG550

One of our regular bucks that we didn't see much this past week. WhitetailCam P41
