October 14th Whitetail Deer Pictures
This album of Whitetail Deer Pictures contains digital scouting camera pictures taken in the weeks before October 14, 2005. The digital scouting cameras had only been out for four days but we still had hundreds of pictures choose from. Bow season opens on the 15th, the rut is only weeks to days away and we are still seeing bucks where they were not regularly seen. We've also captured a couple of pictures of bucks in a couple of pushing matches the last couple of weeks. It's fun to collect the pictures each time now since you just never know what you are going to see.
This eight point buck is one of the regulars. I'm looking forward to seeing him from one of our bow stands.
A nice close-up picture of the odd shaped six point buck. I'm hoping this buck survives until next year to see what type of rack he grows.
If you look real close you can see the tree bark around the antler bases of this seven point buck. We saw numerous rubs on our squirrel hunting journey.
A young five point buck gets caught walking away from the feeder towards the clover patch.
This is a nice close up picture of our resident spike buck. Somehow his two spikes are pointing in noticeably different directions.
I finally got to take a look at this nine point whitetail buck. I'm not sure if his body size isn't more impressive than his antlers.
