October 20th Whitetail Deer Photos

It had only been four days since we had last collected our digital trail cam pictures but we still got some interesting pictures. Some of the bucks we had been previously getting pictures of were absent but we expect most of them to resurface this week. With the rut drawing closer they should be moving more and hopefully we'll catch them on our cameras.

After getting several real nice pictures at a scrape I had moved that camera to get a better angle of bucks visiting the scrape. As usual I messed up, we didn't get any deer pictures with the new camera angle. I've moved it back to its original location.

We did our first bowhunting of the season and we got firsthand looks at a couple of our regulars. The wide nine point came into the feeder we were at and stared us down before leaving and the nine point with sticker points made a breif appearance in the food plot we were next to. I'd like to get a second look at both of these bucks.

These pictures were taken with our Trail Watcher 2035, Trail Watcher 2040, Woodland SpyCam and Camtrakker Digital Ranger.

Sticker point buck

This is a great close up of the same buck. This is why we call him the sticker point buck.

Tall seven point buck

Here is the seven point buck that has a high rack.

Nine point buck

This is the wide nine point buck that we saw Saturday morning. He stood facing us for several minutes before walking away.

Narrow seven point buck

Another seven point buck at one of our mineral licks.
