October 21 Whitetail Photos

Another October week and we continue to see new bucks. We think we have pictures of three bucks that we hadn't seen yet this year, a small eight with thick antlers, a buck with a double white throat patch and the curvey eight point from last year finally showed up and he has nine points this year.

We monitored one scrape this year and we didn't get much. The bucks didn't continue to use the scrape so we moved the camera. This week we put three cameras on scrapes and we look forward to checking them next week.

We got the opportunity to hunt Saturday morning and I got my first look at one eye and the seven point. One eye is a big buck and his antlers were heavy. You could tell he couldn't see out of his right eye, he seemed to try to keep the other deer on his left side.

We moved several cameras this week so we'll see how well we did. Moving our cameras has become a part of hunting for me.

We didn't get any bobcats, black bear or coyotes pictures this time.

This weeks pictures were taken with our StalkerCam, Treebark Cameras 4.1, Trail Watcher 2060, Camtrakker Digital Ranger, Woodland SpyCam and Bigfoot SLE.

Another new buck this week. We think this buck was an eight point last year. This year he's a nine with more mass. Treebark Cameras 4.1
