Penn's Woods Digital Scout
Picture Quality

I gave the Penn's Woods Digital Scout an A- for picture quality in the game camera review. The Penn's Woods Digital Scout has a Minolta 2.0 mega pixel camera.

The Digital Scout recieved an A- instead of an A because the picture quality at night is sometimes a little fuzzy and the pictures do not have the best clarity when blown up. On the other hand, pictures taken during the daytime, morning and evening are very good.

Similar to the EagleEye some pictures will be distorted by water drops in the rain but the little plastic shield over the glass on the Penn's Woods seems to lessen the occurrence of this. This is a picture taken in the rain with the water drops on the lens.

Pictures taken in the daytime, dawn and dusk are all very good pictures as these pictures show.

Overall I've seen very few poor pictures with the Penn's Woods Digital Scout. You can see many more good pictures taken with this camera on the Whitetail Deer Photographs Pages.
