September 13th Deer Pictures
It was an interesting week for our digital trail cameras. We got a lot of pictures but we didn't get nearly as many buck pictures as we had normally been getting. The good thing was that we did get pictures of all of our larger bucks, just not a lot of them. The most notable difference was that we got very few pictures of the largest nine point buck, but he has now shed his velvet. On the other hand, the large buck with several sticker points seemed to show up more than in the past. It will be interesting to see how the pecking order shakes out with these two bucks. By the end of the week it looked like at least half of the bucks had shed their velvet and I expect it to fall off quickly from here on. We also got a few more coyote pictures and we added the two best to the coyote pictures page. These pictures were taken with our Camtrakker Digital Ranger, Trail Stalker, and StalkerCam.
I'm real curious how this buck will look once he sheds his velvet. StalkerCam
Here are two of our young eight point bucks. StalkerCam
This is the buck that has a long sticker point extending off of his left antler base. He's not a bad looking buck. Trail Stalker

The big nine point buck with clean antlers. This is one of only about three pictures we got of this buck this week. Camtrakker
