September 22nd Whitetail Deer Photos

The larger bucks have now all shed their velvet and we are able to see exactly what we have. The nine point with the sticker points on his bases has finally shed his velvet. He was the last of the larger bucks to shed and he still has those sticker points.

We've also noticed that the bucks seem to have started moving a little. One nine point buck showed up at a feeder that he hadn't visited all summer. We should be seeing more of this in the coming weeks and we'll probably see some bucks that we haven't seen all summer.

We also have one seven point buck that showed up regularly at our bucket feeder that we move around. It's interesting that he was a regular at this feeder but he seldom comes to the feeder that has been a mainstay that isn't very far away. The different personalities sure keep this interesting.

The black bear also showed up again. We got two different pictures of him at two different feeders on the same day. It seems that this bear must travel a lot. He's doesn't seem to be hanging around our place on a consistent basis.

These pictures were taken with our Trail Watcher 2040, Woodland SpyCam, Cuddeback Expert and Trail Watcher 2035.

This is a six point that hadn't yet shed his velvet on the 18th.

Seven point buck

Here is the tall racked seven point buck. In the pictures he seemed to be the boss at this feeder.
