September 7th Deer Photos

We captured the first picture of a buck without velvet on September 1st and while we were there over the Labor Day Weekend we got pictures of another buck shedding its velvet over a one night period. Pictures of the second buck are included below.

We were also glad to see the other ten point buck back in front of our cameras. Where he went for one week I'm not sure, but I hope he sticks around.

After seeing the first shed buck on September 1st, another over the weekend and signs of shedding on several of the other bucks I would say that most bucks will have lost their velvet by the next weekend. Now we'll be looking for rubs and after that we'll be looking for scrapes to monitor with our cameras.

We didn't get any coyote or bobcat pictures this week so check back next week.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Treebark Cameras 4.1, Bigfoot SLE, EagleEye, Trail Watcher 2060, StalkerCam and Camtrakker Digital Ranger.
