160 inch 12 pointer killed in Georgia Warren Co

I was hunting on private property that I have hunted for 15 years. The deer I killed 11-6-2009 had the nick name The Prince. There was trail pictures of him for 3 years.

I was hunting in the woods in a ladder stand, I had only seen 2 deer that morning and when I was about to leave I saw a button buck come out in front of me about 40 yards away. It was about 9:30am and I was going to leave as soon as he left when at 9:50am I looked to my left and saw a big doe. I thought she was by herself so I glassed the area again and only 5 steps behind her in a thicket was a GIANT 12 pointer. They were only 40 yards away. I waited until he followed her out and shot him at around 45 yards away,(thank God for the button head or I would have left). His gross score was 160. He was a great buck for Georgia, hope you enjoy his pictures.
