Alleghaney Draw

It was the first day of archery and the stand in the AM I wanted to go to was gone so I had to sit on the ground which I really didn't want to do. It was about 8:30 and my friend said big buck on a text message and he was in the lower ladder stand and I was on top of the hill. Anyways I looked down the hill and all I saw was trees moving and a huge white rack. So I kinda ducked so he wouldn't see me but he ended up smelling me then he ran across the top and down into a big valley. So around 11 o'clock I got up and went to find a tree to hunt in the evening in the direction the buck ran to. So when I came back in the evening I ended up picking a different tree to hunt and ohh did I luck out. If I want to the tree I originally picked I would have never seen him. So I was in the new tree I picked a little further back the valley and I climbed it with an old loggy bayou and I finally saw some deer, I passed up 3 little bucks than 1 nice one. Around the last couple of minutes before dark another buck popped out and all I saw was horns. He came up past me broadside and about 14 yards away and when his head went behind the tree I drew back my Diamond Razor Edge and he than was in the open so I made my noise to stop him and he looked up at me and 1 second later I shot and made an awesome shot,it was a clean pass right through the lungs and he ran about 50 yards and dropped. He ended up scoring 145 Boone and Crockett. It was my goal for the year to get something this big.
