April 19th Whitetail Photos

We're getting closer to full bloom. The woods seems to be picking up more green every day and some rain and warm days have helped. This means a lot of natural food for the deer.

Looking back at past years shows that the bucks antlers start slow and then kick it into gear once May rolls around so we have a couple more weeks until we'll really start to see something. Although the bucks still don't have large antlers we still have six good deer pictures. I apologize to the turkey hunters, we didn't include a turkey picture this week.

We picked out the wounded buck this week. This may mean that he'll keep a little bit of a mark that will help us identify him. It'll be interesting to see what his antlers look like this year. He didn't have any brow tines last year. Maybe he'll change that this year.

We didn't get any bobcat, coyote or black bear pictures again this week. Check back next week.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Bigfoot SLE, Woodland SpyCam, Whitetail EagleEye, Penns Woods DS-07 and Whitetail EagleEye.
