August 9th Whitetail Photos
One week on this set of pictures and all of our interesting bucks showed up and we have pictures from five different cameras. Only one camera had difficulties, we forgot to put a memory card in it! We also had three cameras in another area and didn't get a single good picture, so I moved one of them this week. I put one camera in a location that we've never had a camera so I'm excited to see what shows up. I put it on a telephone pole that can be seen from the house. My sister was on the porch and said that a doe came out and checked out the camera right after I left it. I put another camera in the place we've seen the two biggest bucks in the hayfield. We're looking forward to our next set of pictures.
The big eight point we call white foot looks very wide with nice long tines. I'm waiting to see how thick he is after his velvet sheds. The ten point seems to have grown late and now looks like a very nice buck as well.
There is one eight point that's a pretty nice buck as well. He stands a little above the other three eight pointers that we are seeing.
This time we didn't get any black bear, coyote or bobcat pictures. Check back next time.
This weeks pictures were taken with our
