Just the grass

Just the grass

I bought a Bushnell Trail Scout 2.1 last fall during the deer season from Academy for $34.99. I thought it was a heck of a deal for the camera. So I used it throughout the rest of the deer season and learned it really took pictures of anything that moved and I mean ANYTHING! I put it out for the first time in a new area we were scouting. Came to check it two or three days later and 906 pictures. Of course that got me all excited thinking that I had picked a good spot only to get home and see 905 pictures of grass and one coon. So I took it down. Then tried it about a week ago on 17th of June. Went out there tonight (June 23) and it said 3464. So once again I got all fired up but in the back of my mind I thought it was just gonna be grass. Well it turns out 90% was just grass the other 10% was 2 coons that stayed at my feeder lastnight for 8 hours! And also a possum. Just figured I would post to let everyone know cheap is not always good! Although I did buy a 35mm Trail Camera from Academy for $39.99 and it takes great pictures, not one of just grass! If anyone has any information on good priced trail cameras let me know please! email me at blehmer15@yahoo.com

Look on this website. They have an excellent writeup on a bunch of trail cameras. Most are not the 34.00 dollar variety but from what I have seen on this site and from my own cameras name and price definetly are better....

Youre an idiot. One you have it too close to the area you want to capture. 2, you need to read the owners manual and set the picture time, and then test it. You cant just pull it out of the box and hang it....lol
