December 14th Deer Photographs

Deer season is winding down in our neck of the woods and we can be pretty sure the bucks we're seeing now are what we have left. The only exception is that we don't know what will happen with the six point with the wound on his hip. He has shed his antlers already. Ryan found them in the woods below one of our feeders. Hopefully he'll heal up.

We're still hoping other bucks will show up. The big ten point showed up a couple of times in front of our cameras, but we can't find him consistently and it's been like that all fall.

The wide eight point with broken tines has become a regular again after keeping us guessing all fall.

We got one bobcat picture but we missed most of its face. I think I'll put it on the bobcat pictures page to close out the 2012 page.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Trail Watcher Researcher, Swamp Ghost, Reconyx RC55 and Treebark Cameras 4.1.

We just left this camera in the hayfield and this is the only camera that caught the small nine point buck. Reconyx RC55

I'm not sure if we've seen this small eight point before this year, but he seemed to stick around this week. Penns Woods DS-07

Our regular seven point. For some reason he looks bigger in this picture. Penns Woods DS-07

The big ten point seemed to just show up in the background this week. Treebark Cameras 4.1

The six point survived another week, but has shed his antlers early. Treebark Cameras 4.1

This buck is going to be a dandy next year if we can get our food plots growing again. Trail Watcher Researcher

Here is our five point buck with an overbite. Trail Watcher Researcher
