December 29th Deer Photographs

The last couple of days of 2012 and our deer season is over. It's been an interesting deer season and we haven't quite figured it all out yet. We had several nice bucks left at the end of the season last year, but we didn't see many of them this year.

The wounded buck looks like he might be healing up. He still looks like he's in good health other than the wound and he still seems to be pushing smaller deer around. He wasn't using that leg much and we're not sure if he has started using it yet.

We had been hoping that some other bucks would show up, but that hasn't happened. The ten point is a buck that we only catch glimpses of and the big eight is now a regular after being nearly invisible in November.

The last set of pictures of 2012 finally gave us some black bear pictures. Our previous visit revealed that a bear was back but we didn't catch him with our cameras. I'll have to make a 2012 bear pictures page so check out our newest black bear.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Trail Watcher Researcher, Penns Woods DS-07, Trail Watcher 2060, Bigfoot SLE, Trail Watcher 4220 and Treebark Cameras 4.1.
