June 19, 2015 Whitetail Photographs

We have two weeks on this set of pictures and the bucks are starting to seperate themselves from each other. The earlier pictures are still a little hard to tell apart, but by the end of the two week period they were really starting to grow. Our biggest buck now has eight points. It looks like he went from six to eight points over the two week period.

The camera at the end of the hayfield gave us some fawn pictures, but little else over two weeks. We've moved it to monitor a mineral lick that has showed a lot of activity.

We have another fawn picture this time. We're getting a lot of fawn pictures, a good thing to see among the coyote, bobcat and black bear population we now have.

The licking branch along the old road is still attracting attention. We're going to keep watching this spot as long as the deer keep visiting.

The black bear showed up again on June 8th. We want to try to get feeders set up again, but not as long as he's still stopping by waiting for us to put them up for him to destroy. Check out the black bear picture page. The photos we got of him aren't great, but we'll post them for you to see.

One of the bucks that visited the licking branch.

One of the many fawn pictures we got this time.

The biggest buck we have so far. We're not sure which one he is.

A nice, close picture of a young buck.

This bucks antlers are reaching out wide.

Another buck getting his fifth and sixth points.
