We finally captured a picture of a buck that made us sit up and take notice. He already has eight well developed points. We caught him along one of our food plots.
On the downside, we didn't get many pictures of larger bucks this week. The raccoons are hitting our feeders heavily and I believe that the deer tend to stay away from the coons at this time of the year. We've put electric fence around one of our feeders to see if we can control the problem and are anticipating our next set of pictures to see if it has any effect.
We also got a picture of a buck whose antler characteristics show that he may have some genetics from the buck that Ryan shot last year. He has some promise.
We didn't get any coyote or bobcat pictures this week, stay tuned next week to see if we can find them.
