June 26, 2015 Whitetail Photographs

We think we're now able to start identifying some of the bucks. We're not entirely sure, but it's fun to start to guess. We think we can identify the ten point from the old house area, the overbite eight point and the big eight point. We should be able to tell more each week.

We moved the hayfield camera to the mineral lick at the right of way where we got some nice pictures. We'll probably leave it there for a while. Another camera we had on a mineral lick hasn't been getting very impressive pictures and only had taken 13 this week so we're going to move it to another spot.

We're getting fawn pictures in most locations now. They're getting big enough that they're moving around a lot more.

The licking branch along the old road is still attracting attention. It doesn't get a lot of traffic, but there is one buck that likes to stop and check it out every week.

This week we didn't get any black bear, bobcat or coyote pictures. Maybe next week.

This buck likes the licking branch and shows up every week.

We're pretty sure this is the overbite buck.

We haven't identified this buck, but he shows some promise.

This buck looks like the ten point that hung around this area last year.

This fawn was caught by a camera watching a mineral lick.

This buck looks like the big eight point from last year.
