The Old Man Of The Mountain Is Back !

He has done well for so many years when so many are after him. He came to my door step in 07 with 3 doe's 2 skippers and a young spike. That was the year we got 16 feet of snow in a month. Every sportsman in the state of Maine jumped in to save the deer, turkey and moose. We lost about 45% of our herd. They had to trust us. My father who lives nearby has been taking care of them every winter since. I named him "Lucky" and the spike I named "Joe". Joe is a 10 pointer now. True story...

I've been hunting him for three years, only with a bow. I enjoy the cat & mouse game as much as he does I think,lol, and after the hunting season he beds about 100 yards from my house and I feed him all winter. I get his sheds in the spring. I have hundreds of pictures of him over the years.
