March 20, 2015 Whitetail Photographs

The snow is finally gone. Well, almost. Last night we got enough snow to turn the ground white. You would have never thought it was March 23rd last night watching it snow. Thankfully it melted off today as the temperatures hit the upper 40's and the sun finally peaked out.

No antler growth yet, but we got a lot of pictures of snow, and more snow. The bucks are showing up and they like the protein feed we give them in addition to the corn from the feeders.

Ryan spent a little time looking for antlers, but didn't have any success. We probably won't have much time to look now that food plot time is here along with everything else this spring is bringing us. This may go down as one of our worst shed antler years with only two antlers found. That's a shame since all of the bucks we were watching survived the season.

Once again this week we didn't get any bobcat, coyote or black bear pictures so we fired up the Reconyx in the field this time hoping for some success.

We just can't get rid of winter here.

Here's the overbite buck. Actually he's crooked and overbite.

Another buck at the same feeder.

What is up with the blood on this deer?

Who are you?

Sometimes it gets a little intense at our protein feed spots.
