March 22nd, 2016 Whitetail Photographs

We are returning pictures to our website, we've just made a location change!

Rather than cameras at our property where we try to manage our deer, we've put a couple of cameras at another location. At this location we have no control over the deer, but we do see nice bucks there each year that we've put cameras on them. Honestly this will probably provide us with more doe pictures than buck pictures, but we do have a good probability of seeing a pretty big buck some time during the year.

We'll probably try to give them something from time to time to get them in front of our cameras. You'll notice in these pictures that we used Sugar Beet Crush this time. I may get some corn to put out soon. Last fall I had a feeder out there and could do the same this year.

We have at least one button buck that I've seen, but I couldn't pick him out in any of the pictures in this set. He should start to grow something soon.

We also got one turkey picture. I'd been seeing a gobbler with a harem of hens so I wasn't' surprised to get a picture of one of them.

Two does walking past our attractant.

I thought this one may be the button buck, but I couldn't tell for sure.

Two more does at the same location.

Here's a turkey walking past one of our cameras. We've been seeing a group of about ten turkeys.

Two more at the other camera.
