It was cold and raining one morning but I decided to get up and go on our hunting property down the street from our house while my dad went to another one of our hunting properties. I was only 14 so I rode my golf cart to the property about 20 minutes before light. I got up in my climber and positioned myself so I could have a pretty good shot anywhere with my bow in the pines I was hunting. I sat in the stand about an hour and remembered I had some tink from a small buck I had killed 5 days prior in a bottle in my jacket. I sprayed two sprays to my right, and two sprays to my left, and sure enough, 5 to 10 minutes later he walked right out of the thicket, head down ready to fight. He walked maybe 10 yards from my tree and I let the arrow go and he fell 40 yards from my tree. I had watched this buck and a huge one since velvet and I didn't get a chance at the huge one, but I'm glad I got him.
