November 1st Whitetail Photos

We got a nice variety of pictures this week and it was apparent that the bucks were moving more than normal. We saw bucks where we'd never seen them before. Hopefully they don't wander off and get shot somewhere else. On the other hand we're always looking for a big buck to wander into our area. I guess this is a little selfish, but that won't stop us from releasing an arrow at an unknown big buck.

I hit the big eight point this weekend and we weren't able to find him. Seven hours of three of us searching turned up few clues of his whereabouts. I'm looking forward to seeing this weeks pictures and hoping to see him in them. If not then I'll be back out looking again. This is one of the downsides to getting all of these pictures. The extra white around this bucks feet allowed us to track him since he was a button buck. We'd watched this buck several years before deciding he'd grown up enough to shoot.

We got more pictures of the small ten point buck and pictures of a nine point I don't think we'd seen before. We also got the regulars as well. They were around the scrapes all week and we got several pictures of sparring matches.

I saw bucks running on the 5th so I'm excited to see what this next weeks pictures show us. Maybe we'll see something really big.

This week we got two bobcat pictures along the same road monitoring a scrape. We should probably leave a camera here year-round. Make sure you check the Bobcat Pictures Page this week.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Woodland SpyCam, Treebark Cameras 4.1, Bigfoot SLE, Trail Watcher 2060, Whitetail EagleEye and Trail Watcher 4220.

This is the buck I hit. I thought sure I'd find this buck after a short walk. Hopefully we'll see pictures of him this week. Treebark Cameras 4.1

This buck is young, but he has some pretty big neck in the pictures this week. Trail Watcher 2060

We think this buck will be a dandy next year. Trail Watcher 4220

This nine point showed up this week and we hope to see him stick around. Trail Watcher 4220
