November 24th Whitetail Photos

This is the week before deer season and we had a pretty good week for pictures. We got pictures of all of our regular bucks, but we didn't pick up any wanderers. So far this year we haven't picked up many wandering bucks. Maybe next week.

Again this week the bucks were moving a lot. We got pictures of them in several locations. The bigger bucks still aren't showing up consistently so we haven't been able to pattern them for the first day of the season.

The big eight point has been a ghost in past rifle seasons and he may do the same this year. Through the first day he hasn't shown up in any of the places we've been. We'd like to get a shot at him, but if he makes it until next year he'll be a huge buck.

Our cameras will be out all week throughout this first week of the season. Usually it's a tough picture week. Maybe this year will be different.

A black bear showed up this week and destroyed one of our feeders. After taking care of the feeder it then went to both cameras we had on the feeder and moved them both around on their trees facing away from where the feeder had been. Take a look at it on the black bear pictures page.

The ten point is still sticking around.

We caught the eight point with the little brow tines at this scrape.

We got pictures of our biggest eight point in three locations.

Our second biggest eight point buck has broken off both brow tines.

The wounded buck showed up again and has also broken off a brow tine.

The eight point with the overbite has been a regular in the yard and at the feeders.
