November 8th Whitetail Photos

This week we had a harder time getting buck pictures. It looks like the bucks were out looking for does, spending less time at their normal haunts. The ten point we've been seeing was seen on most of the cameras, while the eight point buck that was wounded last year didn't show up on any of our cameras. The bad news was that we didn't catch any bucks wandering that weren't regulars.

The big eight point I hit last week is still alive and kicking. He showed up on three cameras and we saw him in our yard late Friday night. He was tending a doe, not letting her get far from him. He didn't seem any worse for the wear. We watched him for about a half an hour and had to bang on the windows to keep him from ruining a small peach tree. Maybe we'll get another chance at him.

This week we got one bobcat picture walking past a feeder, but it's a poor picture so we won't be posting it. Check back next week.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Woodland SpyCam, Bigfoot SLE, Trail Watcher 2060, Stalkercam and Trail Watcher 4220.

Here is the big eight point. We sure were glad to see him still on the move. Bigfoot SLE

We saw the overbite buck a lot this week too. He seemed to take over a feeder where the wounded buck used to hang out. Trail Watcher 2060

This eight point buck has been hanging close. We expect him to be a huge one next year. Trail Watcher 2060

This little buck got the rope from the rope ratchet that holds the camera on the tree stuck around his antler. Trail Watcher 4220

This is another buck that should make big strides in antler growth next year. StalkerCam
