October 12th Deer Photographs
Another October week and we got a chance to do a little bow hunting. Ryan made a ground blind in the hayfield and got to see several of our bucks. I took a seat in a treestand and missed one eye on Friday evening. It's frustrating to miss, but I'd rather make a clean miss than a bad hit. I'll try again next week.
We got pictures of both ten points this week and our regular compliment of eight point bucks. Unfortunately the biggest ten point only shows up every once in a while and mostly in the middle of the night. He's going to be hard to get a look at.
We've given up on the second exploration feeder and have now concentrated on scrapes. We saw more scrapes this week and we hope to get some nice pictures over this week.
We got a fox picture this week. It's been quite a while since we captured a fox with our cameras. Check out the fox pictures page.
This weeks pictures were taken with our
Bigfoot SLE,
Trail Watcher 4220,

The biggest ten point. He's got a big body and looks to be an older buck. Trail Watcher 2040
The smaller of our ten point bucks, still a respectable buck. Trail Watcher 2040
A young nine point buck. This buck looks young with a lot of promise. Trail Watcher 2060
The thick eight point that we'd like to see make it into next year. Trail Watcher 2060
One eye made it one more week. I told my wife that the legend lives on after I had missed. We know this buck is at least 6 years old. Trail Watcher Researcher
Our biggest eight point buck. He could be tempting in person. Bigfoot SLE
The tall tined young eight point. Bigfoot SLE
