October 24th Whitetail Photographs

We're still monitoring the two locations that we are getting all of our buck activity. The pipeline work is coming to an end, but there is another group heading past our old house area to plug a very old gas well, which could change our buck activity away from this area. We may be searching for them again next week.

This week we didn't get any pictures of the nine point buck we started seeing a couple of weeks ago. Last week we saw him a lot, but this week he was a no show. Go figure. On the other hand, we picked up an eight point buck that we hadn't been seeing. Hopefully the nine point will show up this week.

The eight point with the crooked G3 showed up a lot this week. He's got a lot of width and could be a nice buck next year.

This seemed to be a bit of an odd week. We saw a lot of bucks in a lot of places, but they weren't regulars in any one place. That's the way this time of the year is when the bucks start to travel. We just hope they don't travel too far.

This week we didn't get any coyote, bobcat or black bear pictures again this week. Check again next week.

Here is a new buck we picked up this week. He looks like a promising young seven point.

The big eight point buck. Sometimes he looks real tempting.

Another new buck, an eight point buck we'd like to see two years from now.

This eight pointer may only need one more year. He already has width and thickness.

Our old buddy overbite, still likes the cameras.

A close up of our wide ten point buck.

Our other ten point looks like he's picked up some body size this fall.
