October 4th Whitetail Photos

We monitored one scrape this week and we finally had some success. It wasn't the fake scrape we created, it was the real thing. For this week we left a camera at this scrape and we're watching two others as well. The bad side is that all three scrapes are relatively close together.

We didn't see a lot of rubs, but the bucks were wearing quite a bit of bark in some of the pictures so they're hitting trees hard some place.

We have seven pictures for you this week, all of them at least eight point bucks. Unfortunately they aren't all monster bucks, but we have two real nice ones and a couple that could be dandies next year.

We got pictures at the scrape and we saw all of our regulars, but we didn't see any new bucks. We usually see wandering bucks later in the fall. It's always something to look forward to.

This week we got one bobcat picture as it walked past a scrape we we're monitoring so make sure you check out the bobcat pictures page.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Trail Watcher Researcher, Penns Woods DS-07, Trail Watcher 2060, Treebark Cameras 4.1 and Woodland SpyCam.
