It was a foggy warm morning and I was late out to the stand. I jumped some deer when I first got out to my stand. After setting for about half an hour one of my regular spikes come in shortly followed by my regular 5 point. They started locking horns on and off while working the scrape I am set up on. Then we heard a crash to the left and I looked over, I could see a green orange arrow bobbing around the field, then he put his head up. Coming right in to check out the noise was a nice 8 point I have never seen here before not only that but he has a arrow shot into his back. I waited unto he was within range and turned sideways and shot my crossbow. The arrow went right through the heart and lungs he ran less then 30 yards before expiring. 11-9-10 Chris.
