Packard Buck

by Sam Rutherford t
(Orleans Ind, USA)

A local a hole not telling any names leased a farm so my brother and I couldn't hunt. Anyway! It was Thanksgiving day 2011 as I was walking to my spot I picked a hot doe I'm guessing blasted out in front of me. That's right you guessed it he came out of same briar patch I whistled and he stopped to look. (Wrong move) as my 870, 12 gauge rang out I begin to chase the Buck he ran across a highway then a small river known as lost river that's right! I also crossed to find him resting in peace. Thanks for allowing me to share.

I have been there for every buck my brother has killed, but this one was by far the most exciting hunt we have had deer hunting. For those who hunt obviously u can tell by the SIZE of that deer. (Hell Yeah) great deer bro.
