September 21st Deer Photographs
This week saw the bucks start to move. As fall approaches we usually see the bucks start to wander around and that is what we saw this week. Bucks that had been predictable are now getting caught on camera quite a distance from their usual haunts.
We're still not sure how many bucks we have and now that they're moving around it's going to be hard to count bucks.
Our hayfield camera didn't give us much again this week, but there is a new scrape nearby so we adjusted the camera to see what visits.
Our first exploration feeder continued to give us good pictures while the new one was dominated by one eye. He seems to be dominating one of our other feeders as well, so we may target him this bow season.
There was more scrape activity this week so we posted a couple of cameras on them to see what we can catch. We'll be looking forward to seeing these pictures.
We didn't get any coyote or bobcat pictures this week so check back next time.
This weeks pictures were taken with our
Treebark Cameras 4.1,
Trail Watcher 2040,
Swamp Ghost and
Trail Watcher 2060.
Here is a ten point that we're not sure we've been seeing. Hopefully he sticks around this area. Trail Watcher 2040
A picture of a buck shedding his velvet. We don't know which buck this is. Swamp Ghost
The buck on the right is the white foot buck that was a seven point last year. Swamp Ghost
Another ten point that we began seeing last week. Swamp Ghost
Our favorite six point with a nice sunrise in the background. Treebark Cameras 4.1
This buck looks a little different in each picture, from a bruiser to a young eight point. Could there be more than one? Treebark Cameras 4.1
One eye seems to be taking over at one feeder. He must have gotten used to his one eye vision. Trail Watcher 2060
