September 6th Whitetail Photos
This set of pictures again shows that the bucks are starting to be less predictable. We're still getting the big eight point and the big ten point showed up again. The smaller ten point walked past our cameras once again this week, but the nine point and seven point didn't show up. We think we got a picture of what we think may be another ten point, but it was a rainy night so it's real hard to tell. We didn't see the other big eight point or the eight point with the little brow tines again this week. Hopefully they'll come back.
We moved a couple of cameras this week. We're monitoring some protein feed and we put a camera at a location we've had success with in the past.
We should soon see some scraping activity. This is when it gets real fun. We've had a lot of success monitoring scrapes in the past and we look forward to the same this year.
All of the bucks still have velvet, but we did get one picture of a small buck with shed velvet. It's a little four point if we give him a little.
Once again we didn't get any black bear, coyote or bobcat pictures. Check back next time.
This weeks pictures were taken with our

Here's the smaller ten point in the same location we saw him last week. Bigfoot SLE
This isn't the biggest buck, but it's a real nice picture. Penns Woods DS-07
This buck is going to be a dandy next year if he survives. Trail Watcher 4220
The big ten point is on the right. It was good to see him back this week. Trail Watcher Researcher
The wide eight point buck. He's obviously the dominant buck on our property. Trail Watcher Researcher
This buck looks like he's just picked up two small brow tines after being a six point last year. Whitetail EagleEye
This is our first buck to shed it's velvet this year. Trail Watcher 4220
