September 7th Deer Photographs

Only five days on this set of pictures and we are a little thin on bucks. When we were downloading the pictures we somehow lost all of the pictures from one camera so we don't have any pictures of the promising young eight point or the six point with no brow tines. That's very disappointing and we don't know how it happened.

We have pictures of one buck that has shed it's velvet and Ryan said that when he looked at the pictures on the camera that we lost, both of those bucks had shed their velvet. Hopefully this week we'll get some better pictures of them shedding.

Our cameras in the hayfield didn't provide much this week. We'll try again this week and hope for better results.

We're a little light on bucks right now and we're not quite sure why. Maybe we'll have to do some experimenting to see where we might find them.

We didn't get any bobcat or coyote pictures this week so check back next week.

This weeks pictures were taken with our Trail Watcher Researcher, Trail Watcher 4220, Woodland SpyCam, Stalkercam, Penns Woods DS-07 and Trail Watcher 2060.

A nice picture of one eye. StalkerCam

This small six point was our most photographed buck this week. Trail Watcher 2060

This picture of one eye shows his sticker points and antlers. Trail Watcher 4220

A small ten point. We can't identify this buck, but we're glad to see him. Penns Woods DS-07

The buck in the background in the white foot buck. I'm surprised he's not more prominent in our pictures. Maybe he is growing up. Trail Watcher Researcher

It's bad when we have to include a spike in our top pictures, but here one is. At least he has an interesting bend to his spikes. Woodland SpyCam
