He was shot at dusk on November 03, 2009. We believe the rut was on at this time and by his neck size it appears so.


He was shot from the 20' high power rifle stand @ approx. 125 yards (the distance from where I took the tower photo) with a Browning 30.06 A Bolt.

When hit, he just stood there like he was frozen then he moved and collapsed in his tracks.

No other buck with that nice of a rack was shot this year here. A 7 and a 6 N.T. were shot but didn't have the symmetry this one had.
The trail camera photos didn't reveal any better either!
