a fox, i think
by: Anonymous

i'm gonna guess that it's a fox, specifically a swift fox (Vulpes velox) in it's summer coat. sometimes fox's summer coats are so short that their tails take on the thin catlike appearence seen in the photo. the animal appears to have a black stripe down its tail and a black tip. which is also consistent with a swift fox, as it's it's rangy long limbed build

Possible
by: Matt

It could be a binturong (could be mispelled) which is a south american type cat. I caught one in MS several years ago.

Coyote, Fox family type animal
by: Sergeant Major

Not a monkey for sure. That would be one enormous monkey of that variety.
It appears to be a Coyote or Fox family species.
Hope your in a stand during the hunt and not on the ground to be caught off guard.
I pity the suprise animal that busts in on my parade out there as my 45 long colt and 300WSM have the answers their seeking!
Baddest mushroom in the woods!
