Well I scouted this buck all summer and got permission to hunt the woods he was staying in the most. I couldn't get him into bow range so on the second day of Ohio shotgun season I moved to the other side of the little 12 acre woods and sat there. The wind was blowing the wrong way so I sprayed golden estrous and dominant buck urine to help cover my scent. Then around 8 AM he came in following a doe. After making a scrape, he lip curled and left the doe behind and started walking to me. He must have been smelling the scents. He walked into 30 yards of me and I made a perfect, ethical heart shot with my 12 gauge Mossberg. He ran about 50 yards and dropped. This is my best buck ever! He had 15 scorable points and field dressed 206 lbs..
