Virginia 9 Point 125 Pope and Young

This is the 9 point I killed last year.

As I sat there on that hot afternoon I was playing with bark and fidgeting around. I stood up to do something when I saw a doe heading into the field. I had my mathews solocam and I was gonna shoot a doe then I heard a stick break behind me and turned to see a doe come out followed by a huge buck. It trotted 25 yards away and I drew my bow and let it rip. At that point I had no idea how big he was or anything. I watched him run about 50 yards to a sliver and fall, then get up and fell once more from there he never moved. I called my dad and I stayed there till dark to not push him. We went over got him gutted and he is now hanging on my wall. He scored 125 pope and young my first good buck.
